The licence plates are totally mounted on the same body panel. Same with the hard crease vertically down the middle. IDENTICAL!

Didn’t realise that Suzuki thing was ever sold in the UK.

It was the first good angle I could find. I didn't know Suzuki sold in the UK at all anymore

It looks like one of them is crooked. I just can’t tell which one...

They both have much more rounded rears than other cars. My awful picture doesn't do it justice. The fake, odd shaped, integrated exhaust come to mind too

I see a silver Kizashi pretty often. I don't think I would've made the connection otherwise. I would love to see a side by side in person.

Fuck these tail lights. Fuck. Them.

All that red real estate and they ONLY USE THE BOTTOM for brake lamps.

It’s the way it goes.

Also, I don’t think many people have seen a Kizashashi, so you’re probably the only one.

I have a theory.

I was gonna make a separate post one day about “old people cars” but that’s work so I’ll summarize.

There’s a general trend I’ve noticed among cars driven by retired folk. They tend to have big headlights and big tail lights. My theory is since old people tend to not see well, they assume others can't either. Think like how colorblind people don't know they're colorblind until it's pointed out to them. So these retired folk think they need big lights out front to see better because if they're like my grand parents they don't believe new tech can be brighter even though they're smaller. Same goes for the rear. Lots of big red out back means people see them better as they drive along with one foot on the brake.

Oh, they do. The Swift is quite popular and they’re introducing more models having been off the radar for several years. It’s that particular Suzuki I was wondering about. They probably sold about six.

That's probably about the same number they sold here.

In the U.K. and Europe the bottom (clear section) is indicators on the outer most with reverse lamps on the inner most. The brake lights are in the upper outer most section The square outline is the rear lights and the ‘sort of arrows’ in the corners are the brake lights). I take it they are different in the U.S.!

Though the light cluster itself has been altered here, the lights are in the same position on a regular car.

The new Insignia has better looking rear lights though.
